| Achievements | I am very proud to say that I have achieved to go to university, as I am the first one in the whole of my family, both from my fathers and mothers side. This has made my parent overwhelm with pride. I am currently in a placement which is part of my course, once that is over with I will have one final year to complete and then would achieve a degree in BSc Business Information Systems. Other achievements include becoming Miss Supa Dupa 2009 as part of a Valentines pageant in Leicester, also becoming Prom Queen 2006 after leaving my former sixth form college. I have also 3 A levels with grades of A-C and also 8 A-C GCSE grades. Completing a maths challenge a few years ago enabled me to be the only one in my year to achieve a bronze award in the UK Intermediate Maths Challenge. I also have an interest in netball and have a Level 1 Netball Coaching Award. In my placement, I have taken part in a Emergency Life Support and Basic First Aid (March 2009)., which you never know one day can help me to save lives. |
| In My Own Words | Business is my passion, I have the ambition to run a chain of outlets in a wide range market. I would like the opportunity to go win MISS INTERCONTINENTAL GB 2009 and show all the normal young girls like me, that not everyone has to have the perfect image, or have an extravagant lifestyle, but you could just be yourself and go aim for you dream as I have done. I would like to become a role model for these girls and make them feel that they should try no matter what comes in their way, as I know that I have stopped a few times in applying to pageants as I thought I was not good enough, but now this is my chance to show others that we can. After the success of winning this pageant and having my own business I have the ambition to become a business ambassador, somewhat like Alan Sugar, or the dragons on Dragon’s Den. I hope that one day my aspiration will in the future become someone else’s inspiration. |
